ESRF organizes a Pre Budget Policy Dialogue.

    The Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) organized a half day pre-budget policy dialogue to discuss sector in relation to the allocated resources per 2016/2017 Government Budget. The dialogue was held at the ESRF Conference Hall.

    The discussion focused on two main areas with a view to influence parliamentary discussion on the budget. The focused areas were; the implication of 2016/2017 budget on the Agriculture Sector in Tanzania and the implication of 2016/2017 budget on the Education Sector in Tanzania

    The objective of the policy dialogue was to provide a room to critically analyze the link between the allocated and actual utilization of resources and see whether the allocated amount were utilized effectively in order to bring the intended changes within the respective sectors.

    The event drew participants from the government, civil society organizations, private sector, NGOs, scholar and researchers.
