Expression of Interest for Provision of External Audit Services..

    Background and Objectives of the Assignment

    The Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) has set aside funds which are intended to be spent for the engagement of the External Auditing firm. The objective of the assignment is to audit the Foundation in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing (ISA), the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) or national standards that comply with ISA or INTOSAI.

    Requests for Expression of Interest

    The ESRF invites certified audit firms to submit Expression of Interest for the provision of audit service commencing January 2017. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. Description of similar assignments, evidence of familiarity with Financial Audits, experience with similar organizations in similar environments and conditions, evidence and familiarity with international organizations, Managerial and Technical capability of the firms principals or directors, etc.

    Auditors Experience and Qualifications

    The Audit firm should be registered with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors. The firm must have at least 5 years relevant experience in carrying out Audits particularly of Financial Audits of Not for Profit Organizations, for donor funded Programs.

    Full Terms of Reference (TORs) for the Audit

    Take note that TORs will be availed only to shortlisted firms which shall be required to submit both Technical and Financial Proposals.

    Submission of the Expression of Interest (EOI)

    Expression of Interest must be submitted by 1700 hours on Monday 3rd October, 2016. Audit firm submitting the EOI should ensure they register in the EOI register for “External Audit Services 2016” and any EOI not registered and is misplaced will not be considered by ESRF.

    Take note that ESRF will only contact shortlisted firms which will be required to submit their proposals both Technical and Financial.
