National Reference Group Meeting on Sustainable Industrial Development Policy: What Role for Food Security, Climate and Trade.

    The aim of this meeting is to discuss on ways to ensure that revision of the Sustainable Industrial Development Policy (SIDP) provides for the promotion of the linkage between trade, food security, climate change and gender. Debates will inform an advocacy campaign towards this goal, whose main messages will be captured in a research study to start soon. Participants will also be briefed on the status of current multilateral trade and climate negotiations, where important international conferences will take place this year.
